Brian is a seasoned healthcare technology and cybersecurity executive with deep expertise in cloud security, enterprise platform protection, and DevOps. As Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at Alivia, he is focused on strengthening the security, resilience, and compliance of the Alivia 360™ platform. His work enables trusted data protection and scalable infrastructure that support advanced fraud detection and payment integrity across the healthcare ecosystem.
Brian has over two decades of experience leading security and engineering initiatives across SaaS and digital platforms. Prior to joining Alivia, he served as CISO at Protenus, a healthcare analytics company focused on patient privacy monitoring, where he built and matured enterprise security programs. At Protenus, he also held senior technology roles, scaling platform operations, cloud infrastructure, and security practices during a period of rapid growth.
Earlier in his career, Brian served as a Systems Architect within advertising and technical operations at AOL (later Verizon Media), where he supported large-scale digital platforms and high-volume data environments. His experience spans secure system architecture, infrastructure automation, and operational leadership across complex, data-intensive organizations.
